RestoreHER US.America Inc (RestoreHER) is a policy advocacy reentry organization founded and led by and for justice-involved women of color. Their mission is to liberate women of color directly impacted by the justice system by enriching their lives and centering their lived experience to end mass incarceration and prison birth in the South, throughout the country, and globally.

Chicago Beyond’s $500,000 commitment strengthens RestoreHER’s multifaceted approach to support women impacted by the justice system. This includes their efforts to shift policies and practices to increase the health and wellness of women incarcerated, direct services to women formerly incarcerated, and re–entry support.
