Change Management Toolkit

A Practical Guide for Implementing Holistic Safety

The Holistic Safety Change Management Toolkit was developed from Chicago Beyond’s partnerships with correctional institutions across the country. The resources in the toolkit have been used by correctional administrators and staff across the United States, putting the Holistic Safety Framework into practice. Each tool helps shift conditions within correctional environments, strengthen collaboration between staff and people who are incarcerated, and improve safety and wellness systemwide.

The Holistic Safety Change Management Toolkit

Chicago Beyond’s Holistic Safety Change Management Toolkit is a tactical resource for correctional leaders driving change and promoting the well-being and safety of both staff and incarcerated individuals. The toolkit includes a simplified framework for implementation, an inventory tool to identify opportunities for improvement, and a resource to support collaborative engagement.
