Increasing safety for people in correctional systems
Since the launch of Chicago Beyond’s Holistic Safety Framework in 2022, Chicago Beyond has partnered with correctional institutions across the nation to bring the principles of Holistic Safety to life. Our working model helps correctional leaders improve safety in jails and prisons by promoting the collaboration of people incarcerated and correctional staff. Ultimately, this work increases safety and emotional well-being for both people incarcerated and staff.
