Research has shown that something as simple as a summer job can reduce violent crime arrests. With an investment from Chicago Beyond, One Summer Chicago PLUS (OSC+) matched more than 3,000 youth in high-risk situations with 20-hour a week summer jobs, mentorship, and counseling.
